Os presento la Tetabag. 


Hace un tiempo, empecé a darle vueltas a la idea que originó esta Bolsa (antes fue una lámina). Era uno de estos momentos sociales curioso, de esos que parecen sacados de una mala película. La polémica había saltado pues se estaba cuestionando el derecho de la mujer a amamantar en público a estas alturas de la vida y en un país supuestamente progresista. Se oían voces que tachaban de obscena la escena. ¿Pechos al aire para alimentar a los bebés? ¿Estábamos locas?


Parece ser que sí. Es asombroso que haya personas que puedan reprobar un acto tan natural. Algo que haya que ocultar de la vista de los mortales. 

Para mí y para muchos no es más que una muestra más de abuso y uso que del cuerpo de la mujer se hace sin que tengamos mucho que decir al respecto. Dictar cuándo y cómo podemos enseñar las tetas, ésa era y es la cuestión. 

Con esta idea en la cabeza me puse a dibujar y encima a esto se le sumó la campaña en Instagram de vetar los pezones incluso si están dibujados.  Es tan ridículo.


Así que, si unimos mi pasión por el graffiti, mi conciencia feminista y mi sentido del humor, el resultado: la Tetabag no deja de ser lógico. 

Seguí reflexionando sobre el tema, con la lámina hecha, y unos prints de la lámina, pues pensé que no es mala idea darle la oportunidad a la gente de lleváserla a casa.


Pero tanto el original como los prints no dejan de ser algo que se disfrutará en un espacio cerrado, relegando la imagen de mi idea a la privacidad del que los consuma.  Por eso la Tetabag cumple un objetivo distinto. Espero que la bolsa salga a la calle, e inude de tetas la ciudad. 

No hace falta ser mujer para llevarla. Lo bueno de las tetas es que todos tenemos un par. Lo bueno de las bolsas es que no tienen género sexual. 


Tetabag es una bolsa edición limitada de 40 unidades, algodón 100%, hecha a mano entre Madrid y Barcelona. Es la primera de, esperamos, muchas iniciativas que saldrán bajo la marca Babacolorclub. Una marca respetuosa con el medio ambiente, y especialmente dedicada a producir y vender ropa para niños y mayores en colaboración con artistas de renombre.

A while ago, I started thinking about the idea that originated this totebag (it was first a drawing). It was one of these curious social moments, of those that seem to come from a bad movie. The controversy had jumped because our society was questioning the right of women to breastfeed in public… at this point in life and in a supposedly progressive part of the world. There were voices that called the scene obscene. Expose the breasts to feed the babies? Were we crazy?

It seems so. It is amazing that there are people who can complain for such a natural act. Something that a part of society thinks must be hidden from the view of mortals.

For me and for many it’s just another example of abuse and use of the woman's body without listening to our opinion. Dictate when and how we can show the tits, that was and is the question. And it is absurd.

So with this in mind I started to draw.

On top of that, there was the Instagram campaing to veto the nipples, even if they are drawn.

So, if we unite my passion for graffiti, my feminist consciousness and my sense of humor, the result was logical.

I couldn’t stop thinking on the subject, even when the drawing, and the prints were out, because I think it's good that more than one person can enjoy and share an idea.

But both the original art and the prints do not cease to be something that will be enjoyed privately, relegating the image of my idea to the view of the consumer. That is why the Tittybag fulfills a different objective. I hope this bag goes out to the street, and flood the city with tits.

You do not have to be a woman to carry it. The good thing about tits is that we all have a pair. The good thing about bags is that they do not have gender.
